We stayed at the Riveria, 5 min walk and was just in time for the lunch specials. Sitting outside was so nice, service was attentive, and food was fresh and delicious. Will return!

Went for a business lunch at a day/time when most sushi places are closed and the view was spectacular and the sushi was really fresh and good. Quality fresh fish is all I ask for, don't need no fancy rolls and this came through. Highly recommend!
We got into Dana Point to our hotel and wanted to go eat. There were two choices there near the hotel, a Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant. We chose this sushi restaurant and did not regret our choice. They had a very diverse menu, which made me want to try a couple things on it. My wife had Chicken Teriyaki and I enjoyed three items. I started with an Uni shooter with aquails egg.egg, then had the 5 piece Nigiri. Both were spectacular. Then had the Katana roll by our server’s recommendation. The atmosphere of the servers and the food was well worth going to it in the price wasn’t too bad.
Best sushi in OC! Fresh taste, creative ingredients, kind service and an amazing ocean view makes this place an excellent experience. The Happy Hour menu is stocked with a plenty of favorites.
I dined here on Friday Feb 2, 2018. This place is a hidden gem.... with great views, ambiance, and good portion sizes. The service is top notch, and even though one is "assigned" a master sushi chef, every team member is ready to assist with anything (very proactive crew). Specials on craft beers, the sashimi combo and several rolls are reasonably priced. I was pleased with the taste and presentation, however, some of my friends weren't too impressed (claimed "experts" in the sushi field). Two big screen TVs on site. Recommended. PS: Warm blankets available at entrance.
The service staff is so attentive. The cooks are amazing!! I ordered the Samurai and Shogun 10/10 recommend. Small space with patio and sushi bar. You can see the cooks create the rolls before toy. The food is fresh and the flavors are impactful. Honestly a good choice for sushi by the beach. Pay them a visit :)
